TTC after placing a baby for adoption?

I placed a baby girl almost 5 years ago, and I'm now TTC. It's been hard, I think I may be freaking out more than necessary because my "accidental conception" happened so easily! I'm feeling a lot of regret (have been for years), but now I'm afraid that it won't happen for me. Ever. I'm sure over thinking like this is negatively affecting my fertility. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to stop all this worrying?

You gave a couple a very special gift five years ago. I don't believe you will be punished now for a decision you made then. My cousin experienced the same thing and she now has two children.

I agree with mrsperkins. As hard as it is, try not to worry. You did what was best for you and your baby at that moment in your life. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to have children ever. It will happen.
