If you were taking the pill, you did not ovulate. Why would you go off the pill than start again after your period is over? Bc pill doesn't work whenever you want it to. Sorry. Maybe condoms are your best bet. As for this cycle . If you were taking pill, which screws with hormones in your body. Very doubtful you are pregnant especially if you were taking them when you bd. and usually wih ANY bc pill, you are suppose to start taking the first day of your period , not the last day you bled. Sorry I'm a little confused. In any case, best of luck to you

Hi thanks for your help .... The pill I take is a Sunday start pill I am supposed to take it the first Sunday after my period starts. I was only on the pill for 7 days and on day 7 is when my husband and I had unprotected sex. So I was just wondering if the pill was effective at that time. You are completely right I don't know why I restated the pill I guess I was so used to being on it and the one month of being off of it really threw me off. I am going crazy though cause my mind is noticing every little symptom and I may be getting it confused with my upcoming expected period? After this I am definitely staying off any pill to get these hormones leveled out. Do you think I need to take a pregnancy test ?

if i were you i would take one, just to rule it out. i too notice every little thing about my body. i am not sure about just taking them for 7 days. let me know what outcome is. i am curious now. :)
