Implantation Bleeding?

I ovulated approximately June 8th. Due to get period yesterday. On Friday June 21st I had brown/red spotting. I've been having this spotting accompanied by light cramping (similiar to AF). Anyone experience anything like this and get BFP or am I just being hopefully. No really symptoms except sore bbs, tired and emotional (which I attributed to feeling I was "out" this month). I have been off the pill since July 2012 and have been actively trying since August. If is my period I wish it would just come along and be done with so I can focus on next month
