My cycle seems odd? PMS symptoms -during- instead of a week before??

I usually have PMS symptoms about a week before I start. But about 3 days after I started, is when I got my pms symptoms (cramping, mood swings). This cycle I started spotting for two days (brown) then it got heavy (bright/dark red). I usually only bleed for 5-6 days, but today makes 7 AND i'm still clotting. Kind of worries me. Plus I've been feeling a tad bit nauseated. Is it normal to have a cycle like this?
