implantation bleeding or early period?
so i started taking provera on may 7th and my period started on may 15th, then i took clomid days 3-8 of my cycle. i was doing opk's from cd 11 on and on cd 15 i got a positive so i assumed i ovulated the next day. we bd'd a bunch around that time then on cd 20 i started spotting. it started out as spotting then got a lil heavier (not enough to use anything though) and it stopped all together today (cd 23) so i'm just wondering was that ib or just an early period? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. i go to the dr friday so we'll see what he has to say also! thank you!

I have read many things online about telling the difference between implantation bleeding (IB) or a period. Of course they all say different things but the one common thing they all say to distinguish the two is that IB will be spotting that only lasts anywhere between 1-3 days whereas a period will have a flow light-heavy-light that will last anywhere between 3-7 days. So if all you had was light spotting I would guess implantation bleeding. They say IB happens around 6-12DPO. Ovulation bleeding can occur too which happens right at ovulation or right after ovulation occurs. But if you got a +OPK on CD15 and your bleeding occurred on CD20, I would guess implantation bleeding. What I have read also is that when you feel it is IB, you should test anywhere between 2-7 days afterwords, the +HPT varies for women... Best of luck to you!! Please keep us updated!!!
