Is 8 or 9 dpo too early to test??
I've been having a couple of different symptoms (bloating, cramps, nausea, had a iui done on the 26th after a ultrasound confirmation on follies, we've been trying for 6months now and my first pregnancy took at the second try. Didn't take any hormonal drugs this time around? Please help and give me an opinion.

I got postives at 9 and 10 DPO this last cycle, then they faded out and I found out it was a chemical. Every part of me wishes I had waited until AF was late to test so I would've just thought it was a normal AF and not have known it was a chemical. It's heartbreaking to get positives and then all negatives a couple days later.

Well it all depends on your cycle length really. As an example, I have a short luteal phase so testing at 9dpo would be three days before my period. I would hold off until at least 12 dpo even though I know it's so hard. I have little moments where I want to run and take a hpt. In February I managed to wait until 14dpo because I was not expecting to be pregnant. Sadly, I miscarried. Right now I'm at 8dpo and going to try to wait untill Friday, AF is due on Sunday.

Thanks so much for your answers, your imput is important to me trust me, I'm going to try and wait until Thursday (my birthday) this would be an amazing present!!! But being that I've just stopped using clomid I've been told side effects can last pretty long....anyways trying to be positive and realistic at the same time....loads of fun.
Good luck to all of you.
