BFP before or after Implantation Bleeding?

I am pretty sure 99% of this community can agree with me that we over analyze EVERY little twinge and flick, but I keep feeling this "poke". It kind of tickles, pins sometimes/dull sometimes, very hard to explain. Since this is last last month of us trying naturally, I am hoping for the best, but of course expecting the worst. So I can get my hope up a little bit more, if I do get some spotting, does that mean it is time for a pregnancy test? Or should I wait a couple of more days after it? Today I am 5 dpo with (of course) a neg test.
