dollar store ovulation test?

I've read plenty of postings saying that ovulation tests always show a faint line which is a negative result which I understand but my question is has anyone had the dollar store ones show a faint line every time? I took one shortly after my period stopped because my period was really funky last month I spooted brown blood the majority of it and then 2 days after AF stopped I had mild cramping so I took an Ovulation test just to see got one with a faint line and the next morning a BFN so I took 2 today because I've had some white creamy type discharge(TMI) and they were both faint lines so are they always faint with the dollar store kind> I should add the 2 i took after AF were also dollar tree brand. My period is due next saturday so I shouldnt be having any kind of LH surge. It also hurt when my husband and I had sex this afternoon. Which sometimes with ovulation it happens just a small amount of pain but there is no way im ovulating when my period is due next saturday!
