Anyone use dollar store new choice OPK? What was your progression?
I took a opk at 8 pm last night that was a faint line. I took it because I have EW CM and my cervix was soft and open. I am on cycle day 8 today.. I took one this morning.. you can see it in the ovulation test image gallery. It is almost the same color but not quite. The woman i called at the company said it does not have to be darker, just the same color. I have taken these in other cycles and had no line at all... I was wondering if anyone sees a steady progression when using these? Should I test tonight or tomorrow morning? If its pos tomorrow that means O in 24-48 according to the box. so cd 10 or 11? Because I would be O ing earlier would that mean a shorter cycle and I should expect AF earlier, around CD 23? THANKS!!

I used OPK's that I got off of amazon. They are just dip strips and I am sure are the same quality as the dollar store ones. I tested two days prior to ovulating and it was clear they were negative. My first obvious positive was on Saturday and then again on Sunday. By Monday it was negative. I have also heard you should test in the afternoon for OPK's unlike HPT tests where you should in the morning. Since it's difficult to pinpoint your exact ovulation date, I went with Sunday to start my count since it does say within 12-48 hours. Hope this helps.
Good luck!
