Hi! I have really irregular cycles and started taking Vitex 51 days ago. It doesn't seem to be helping me... I'm on CD 51 and ovulated on CD 39, so it didn't shorten my cycle. AF is due Friday CD 53 and I tested today and got a BFN. I have heard wonderful things about it though, so you should definitely give it a go... My cousin had a really irregular cycle as well and her cycle regulated within a month and she got pregnant the second month of taking it. I hope this helps and I hope you get your BFP soon. :)

Wow! That's great news for your cousin!! Congrats to her. I am sorry your still dealing with an irregular cycle. Has the OBGYN given you a diagnosis? I hope you get a BFP for 2013 too!! thanks for the info and well wishes. I just wish all women who want to conceive can. Eh vitex didn't do a thing for me either. I just ordered some maca root though. You should do some research on it. It is supposed to be WONDERFUL for regulating hormone imbalances!!! I am now on provera so I won't start it yet until after my hsg test. Then I am going to start it to see if my cycle will shorten :) Good luck I know how ya feel with loooooonnnnnnnggggg cycles!

I am going to the doc this month... I wanted to wait until after the 10 month mark. Hopefully it's something easy to fix. I wish it was easy for all couples! It is really hard when it seems like everyone around you is getting pregnant and you're having such a hard time. One of my friends just announced today... that makes 4 of my good friends. I hope that vitex helps you! :)

Hang in there girls!! I am having problems now but did conceive two boys just fine. Don't give up. There are soo many options out there now. maybe see a reproductive endocrinologist or fertlility doc. They can help. Just stay positive and low stress. exercise and eat healthy. Baby dust!!

Vitex has worked wonders for me.... Went 6 months without a cycle and wanted to try something natural... Started taking Vitex and exactly two weeks later, WHAM, AF arrived..... Since taking Fertilaid (has Vitex in it) I am in my 3rd cycle... My first cycle was 28 days, 2nd cycle was 34 days... I am on CD 10 right now... Need to mention, I also was NOT ovulating before starting Fertilaid... Now I am.... I have not ovulated yet this cycle but hoping this is my month! I had super long cycles so started taking vitex. After I took them for three months I had an exact 28 day cycle. I continued taking them for another three months then stopped. Now my cycle is 32-36 days without the vitex. I think it absolutely worked. I am currently about 8 weeks pregnant.

Hey Sweetie. I have had great luck with Vitex. It has always helped me regulate my cycles. It does take a couple weeks to really get in your system. Have you thought of Dong Qui? It is really helpful too. GL!

I have a blend I already bought from GNC. It has vitex in it. Is the liquid kind better though??
