You actually can bleed if your pregnant and the only time you should be alarmed is if your soaking a pad... If not you should be fine... Let your doctor know especially if you have pcos so ge can give you some progestrone... If you are healthy and dont have pcos there is nothing he will or can do except tell you to go home and put your feet up and rest... That's it they wont do anything until they have determined that you hava a viable pregnancy which is usually at 20 weeks so pit your feet up and rest a bit take it easy and try to relax!! Good luck!! Hope this helps :-)

i know that 50% of women with bleeding in early pregnancy go on to have normal, healthy pregnancies, the other 50% end up with miscarriages. i wish you the best! i unfortunately started spotting at 5 weeks and went through a miscarriage. crossing my fingers for you!!

Hi,

I am 5 weeks and having spotting as well. It is very disconcerting to have any spotting during pregnancy. I have three previous pregnancies - I have spotted with all of them. Two were miscarriages and one was a healthy baby boy. I am having my doc check my hcg levels and I am trying to not to go mental as I wait to see how this one is going to play out. Try not to worry (I know, easier said than done) as only time will tell. All the best to you and I hope you have a really sticky bean.

I had bleeding at 5 weeks and lost my pregnancy - yes bleeding can be normal and mean nothing but you should go to your doctor

I also had bleeding at 5 weeks and miscarried. I think if it stays the same amount you should be fine. My started off brown only when I wiped. Within 2 days it was pink and a day later a lot of red blood. Several of my friends have bled in early pregnancy and they have gone on to have healthy babies. You should go see your doctor and have your HCG level checked. If it continues to rise you are just fine.

That is how my miscarriage started out and I had bad pain accompanying it by the following morning. Call your doc or go to ER!
