Very early in pregnancy your HcG (hormone levels produced only during pregnancy) are low. This is why they recommend you take the pregnancy test with your first morning urine, you've basically been "holding it" all night while sleeping so you have a greater concentration of urine and thus of HcG.

If you took a test in the morning and it was positive, and then took another test right after that was negative, quite likely your urine was just more diluted the second time and you are so early in pregnancy you don't have that much HcG right now.

Take another pregnancy test tomorrow morning with your first morning urine, I'm sure it will be positive!

good luck :)

If your period isn't due until the 27th I think taking a test on the 8th is way too early and I think it was likely a false positive. I'm not trying to be a buzzkill - trust me, I've been trying for 11 months and cry every month Aunt Flo shows her ugly head but I don't want you to get your hopes all up for nothing. All I'm saying is if you don't get your period on Saturday then test agin on Sunday and you should have a better answer (use first morning urine)
Good luck!
