Immune suppression + benadryl/ claritin - help!

Okay, so I've heard about taking Benadryl/ Claritin during TTC to suppress your immune system - but I can't find ANYTHING about how much to take, when to start taking it (after ovulation or CD1?), when you should take it (what time of day?), etc. I've tried googling it and searching around here, but there are just so many posts about it I thought I'd just ask. Anyone who is doing this, I'd appreciate some feedback....2nd IUI this month and I'll do just about anything to get a sticky bean! :) Thanks ladies!
