Question

Could I be pregnant? PLEASE HELP!

I started taking BC pills and decided that I didn't want to take them, I had breakthrough bleeding but now my regular period hasn't started...does the break thru bleeding count as a period? Could I be pregnant?!

I had the mirena IUD removed in July last year...I started bleeding 3 days later, which continued for almost 2 weeks. Then 19 days after removal, I had "my first period". I counted that as my AF and then 26 days later, I got AF again. Coming of BC of any kind can really mess up our cycles for awhile. I'd say wait the standard 28 days after you stopped and take a test if you haven't started yet. I would count the breakthrough bleed as your period and go from there. Good luck!
