I know of at least a few women on here who's only symptom was a lack of symptoms. And when I was pregnant with my daughter, the only thing I experienced before the 6 week mark was cramping around the time AF should have arrived.

It sounds as though you should be far enough along to take a test at this point...

I had no PMS or pregnancy symptoms this cycle and I'm pregnant so a lack of usual symptoms may mean something's up. I usually have a backache and am really moody starting a few days before AF is due. This month I had no backache and was unusually affectionate towards my husband. I got my first faint BFP at 11 DPO and today at 16 DPO (4 days late) I took another test just for kicks and it was a really strong positive so take a test if you haven't already!

Thanks for the helpful advice but turns out this mth wasn't to be and period just decided to come 4 days late. Oh well maybe next time. Congrats to you Mom2Chuck :)

babycrazykiwi, I've been through similar circumstances a few times in the past year. Typically my cycle is 29 days, but there were a few times when AF would be 5 - 7 days late...

Might not hurt to ask your Dr. if they can help regulate it (they prescribed Clomid to help me)? It's likely that ovulation is being delayed or not occurring (stress maybe?) and that would cause a late period. Might be nothing at all, but my Fertility Clinic always seemed to perk up a bit when I let them know about my late periods.

Not to worry you, but sometimes getting answers could help speed things up!

Thanks for the feedback J&K. We've only been trying for 8mths (ha I say only but feels like forever!) and I haven't really charted ovulation properly other than from discharge so will try that for a couple months. Will def see doc if the cycle thing continues the way it has.
