bleeding
Has anyone ever had bleeding after light positive pregnancy tests? I am on cd21 and have had 4 light pink positive pregnancy tests. I ovulated really early this month prob due to the soy isoflavones I started taking this cycle. My cycles were running around 38-45 days. They used to be 27-28 on the dot. So yesterday morning cramping with spotting. Spotting stopped with cramping all day then last night spotting lightly. Early morning cramping again with heavy bleeding. Now light cramping and still bleeding but it seems to be lightening up. Not sure if this is a early miscarriage, chemical pregnancy, or just a plain early period. Can anyone help me?

Okay, thank you for your answer. Bleeding has almost stopped. Brown. I dont know what is going on. Tomorrow will be day 3 so if there is no bleeding I am going to take another home hpt. If there is anything I am going to get blood test done. Still have some hope. Just dont wanna start soy again if I am still prego.

I got this answer when i asked my OB consultant by email "The spotting can be a sign of an early miscarriage. "Assuming you have no pain then I would suggest repeating the urine pregnancy test in about three days. If it is still positive then please let me know and we will arrange to see you for an ultrasound scan. If the pregnancy test is negative, then this will be sadly a miscarriage."

Well started bleeding really bad early this morning. Cramps. Tested and the hpt was negative. Not even a light positive so it was either a chemical or miscarriage. Gonna start with the soy again. This month I am going to do 3-7 instead of 1-5. Maybe I will ovulate later and be able to keep this one. Hoping god has something in store for me. If i do conceive this month the baby will be due on my husbands birthday. So I am taking soy isoflavones 200 mg cd 3-7 and 1000 mg of evening primrose oil, daily prenatal. Anyone else think of anything they can suggest I should also take?

I am really sorry Laura 0 I have had several miscarriages, so I know some of what u r feeling - just know u r not alone - pls..I don't know anything about Soy, but Dakotagirrl is fab on most of this stuff - see if u can message her..
Alos, I have heard that best only taking Evening primrose for first 14 days of cycle -
Dakotagirrl suggested aspirin, royal jelly, ubiquanol, omega...and I can't remember what else, but thats what I am now taking thsi month...I am overweight 75kg nad 5.5 tall - so BMI 27..I think that might be causing a problem with me too...So trying to eat a bit less this month...hope that helps - I found the aspirin helped me with the bleeding too - but if u do take - only take the baby aspirin - low dose 75mg

Thank you for all your kind words. I only take the evening primrose oil till I ovulate. Or till I get a positive opk. I only took it for a week last month and last night was my first night taking it. I am only taking it while I take the soy. Im trying something different this month and taking 200 mg of soy from cd 3-7 instead of 80 cd1-2 120mg 3-4 and 160 day 5. That should put me ovulating on day 13 or 14 I hope instead of day 10 like last month. Bleeding and pain has gotten alot better. Yesterday was the worst of it. Im overweight as well. Have been trying to work out and eat better. Cut out alot of fast food and dark soda. If I have the same result this month I am going to give it one last try then clean out my system. Let it do something on its own.

Please check out you Thyroid and get an insulin resistance test (PRE-diabetic test)-
Your thyroid can be in normal range, but if you have thyroid antibodies, there is significant research that this can cause miscarriages. I only just found this out yesterday - and started thyroid meds yesterday (safe in pregnancy)
Pls read this from my OB Consultant
"There is some evidence that even subclinical hypothyroidism (especially if antithyroid antbodies are present) can be associated with miscarriage. A large research trial on this is about to start (termed the TABLET trial).I think you might benefit form 50mg levothyroxine daily. Your GP should be able to arrange this."
My question was
"Yesterday my GP ran a thyroid test and TSH was 4.4 (range .3-4.2). I don't like taking medicines, and in fact in the past I was the opposite - Hyperthyroid - which then naturally came back into range.
Do you think that it is worth taking the thyroid medication, as a way to prevent misc
