Question

long lutal phase?

Is it possible to get pregnant if you have a really long lutal phase? I found out this month that i ovulated today(the 10), and i normally have a pretty regular cycle length of 30 days. That would make me have a 20 day lp. Is that too long? i know the norm is between 14-16.

I've noticed mine is a little long too. I'm not sure. But I would like to know. I'm pretty sure it's way better than having a short one. :)

If u ovulate early or late, ur af will follow within a day or two of ur normal lp length. U wont have a 20 day lp, the corpus luteum cannot sustain itself for longer than 16 days. When ppl think they have 20+ day lp's, they are either preg, or ovulated later than they originally thought. I recommend taking ur bbt daily so u can confirm ur suspected O dates...it will eliminate a lot of guess work and worry. Good luck! =))
