Can a very early pos pregnancy test be a sign of chemical pregnancy?

I meant to pull out an ov test, but by mistake grabbed preg test (ic). To my surprise it was positive! I tested again with ept and it too was pos. I am almost certain of my o date because I tested from end of period to current date. I was 4 dpo with first pos test! Could this be a sign of chemical pregnancy? And how do I know?

You must be wrong about your ovulation date - no way to have a positive at 4dpo unless the hcg is in your system from some other source.

Are you taking any fertility meds? I know a trigger shot can cause false positives if you test too early.

No meds, no shots. And I used an Internet cheapie and the ept. Should I try pink dye instead?

Ok, I see why you are looking at! Yes, that's my name, but my sister found out she was pregnant last month...that's a post I made for her! Unfortunately she lost the baby last weekend. :(. Sorry, I can see how that was confusing!!
