Question

Has anyone else used clearblue advanced ovulation test?

I started using the clearblue advanced digital ovulation test. For the past 3 days I have gotten the flashing smiley face indicating "high fertility." I am wondering if these results are normal and if so should a just keep testing until I recieve the solid smiley. Or if perhaps there is a problem. Thanks ladies. I really want my dec baby!

I have been using for the past week. I got three full days of flashing smiley faces and had one this morning as well. I feel like I am or am about to ovulate though so I took another one at 1:30 and got my first solid smiley face. So I assume that means I am ovulating or will sometime today?

Hi Ashley. I just actually mailed in my receipt to Clearblue because 5 out of the 7 ovulation tests were faulty. I did not get a clear answer on any of them. However they were not the digital ones. I know that the LH surge can last as little as an hour to a couple of days. If you think something is wrong with them you can call Clearblue customer service and they can send you a replacement. I hope this means ovulation time for you and throwing lots of baby dust your way!

Thank you all for the responces. I will just continue to test. I feel like I am getting more ovulation symptoms. I have been testing twice a day for the last two days bc I'm scared I will miss my surge. I feel much more confident now that you all had the same experience. Lots of baby dust to you all. I really feel like I'm doing everything right this month. I will let you know when I get my soild smiley, which I'm guessing will be tomorrow or the next day. I hope it's all of our months to get that strong positive pregnancy test! :)

I have been searching the net for a question or answer to this. I started using the Advanced Clearblue Digital O test this month and I got 3 flashing smiley faces on March 20, 21st, and 22nd. A friend of mine told me to test that night of the 22nd but I had ran out of sticks so I went to the store to buy more. They were out so I bought a Clearblue Digital (not the advanced one) and when I tested, I got a negative result. No face at all! I re tested Saturday morning the 23 and again a negative result. I never saw a solid non flashing face. Does that mean I didn't ovulate? This was my first month using the O test so I started on my 8th day of my cycle. Last month my period was a week late and so I wasn't sure when I would actually ovulate. My first flashing smiley face was on the 14th day of my cycle. Does anyone have some insight?

I am still waiting to get my solid smiley. I am not sure. I have the same question. I have three tests left and I will test tonight. I am on my 18th cycle day but last month I O on 20th cycle day. My cycles have been a little longer since my miscarriage. About 32-34 day cycles.

Omg I am so glad I am not the only person dealing with this. I am so frustrated with it! It cost $30 for them where I live and I have already bought two. So far all I have gotten were the flashing smiley's. I gave up on those. Too expensive for me to be buying. Since my cycles are long I actually don't know when I ovulate and need some help trying to detect it. I may fork out the moolah and just get the fertility monitor. Idk though.

It seems to be a popluar problem. I paid $44 for my 10 day kit. I totally agree they are way too expensive but if it gets me my bfp then it will def be worth it. I just tested about an hour ago and finally got my solid smiley. Thank goodness. I was going insane with four days of flashing smileys. I think the trick is to test in the afternoon bc I tested at 10 am with first morning urine this morning and it was flashing smiley. Then, this afternoon at 5pm I finally got the solid smiley. Good luck ladies. I really hope this is our month. Sending lots of baby dust to you all.

I too have gotten 4 days of flashing smiley faces and I am getting frustrated! This was my first month of trying these fancy expensive tests, normally I just use the cheap Wondfo strips I purchase off the internet. I have been taking those along side my Digi the past 4 days and I am thinking I missed my solid smiley yesterday? My wondfo's have been fading in since Tuesday with the darkest being yesterday morning. It was not quite as dark as prior months, but I figured it would probably be positive by the end of the day. That's how it worked in prior months. I didn't get around to taking one last night before bed, but this morning my wondfo had faded out significantly. My Clearblue Advanced was still flashing a smiley face though?!?!

I thought the directions said it would show 2 days of a solid smiley once you hit your peak. Anybody go from having a solid one afternoon back to a flashing smiley face the next day? Just wondering if that is normal?

Elphabaa77-----Once the solid smiley pops up it stays that way for 48 hours. I did however test after the 48 hours was up and it was completely negative. Try testing in the afternoon that is when I got my solid smiley. It says on the package that 80% of women got 4 or more fertile days while using this package. So I am guessing that we just got more fertile days bc the test detected estrogen well before the surge. Hope this helps.
