Question

when did I ovulate?

wanted to get some opinions.. I got a positive ovulation test the morning of weds march 13th, but I swear I felt myself ovulate that Friday evening..does that make sense or maybe I wasn't really ovulating? I had pain & cramps on my right side..it just seems like too long after the positive ovulation test..

the ovulation tests tell you when you have an LH spike which occurs BEFORE ovulation. So i would say you ovulated thursday or friday. The last time I used them I got a positive test on saturday but knew i ovulated sunday because of egcm.

The opk tests say that you can expect ovulation to occur anywhere from 12 to 48 hours after detecting the first positive opk. So yes that sounds like you were right on cue.

agree with the other two ladies... most are 12-48 hours. if you caught the end of the surge, you coud've ovulated late late wednesday night, but it could have also happened thursday or friday. definitely not too long after the test. =) another bit of info about the twinges, i have read (not sure how accurate it is) that they can occur right before, during or even right after ovulation occurs but it's a very good indicator that ovulation did occur. sounds like your right on the money! good luck to you! hope you get your BFP this month! =)
