Brown discharge when I wipe. 2 days before expected period

So about 2 days ago (4 days before my expected period) I posted about how my discharge was sticky, clear and smelled super sweet (usually has a bearable kind of bitter smell before my period). Then yesterday evening I had some brown spotting on my pantiliner and again this morning brown discharge when I wipe. I am 12 dpo today. Is this just my period starting early or could I possibly be pregnant and this is implantation blood?

There is really no way to know without testing...it could be either.

Implantation bleeding/spotting usually happens a 4 to 10 days before your period starts. I have experienced what you are describing but have always had my period a day or two later. sorry to disappoint

i had this with my daughter who is now four and also jan/feb but unfortunatley i m/c, so u could be preggo just hang in there!! you know they say ur not out till the witch shows up!!! gd luck :)
