Will I need 2 spinals again for my C-section?
I had preeclampsia bad my son at 34 weeks and was in the hospital for one day while the gave me tons of meds idk what all or if that maybe had a affect on it or not the next day had a emergency C-section the first spinal didn't take so they gave me another and it work the second time but was told if it didn't I would be put under I do not want to be this time so if I go in again this time and it doesn't take the first time will they again try another spinal or just put me under im 11 weeks so far so I just haven't asked yet and was wondering if this happened to any one or if you know the answer

There are three reasons an epidural (spinal) may not work (1) the epidural may have been placed wrongly, (2) the way your nerves are placed in your body, and (3) labor may progress too quickly for the epidural to be helpful.
I don't think anyone can say for sure which one of these reasons caused your problem. But, in this study, 12% of women had an initial problem with their epidural, and after it was replaced once---or more---98.8% of all the women in the study had pain relief.
