No it's not and I have the proof in my daughter.
My cycle is 28 give or take 2 days with way , one month like u I didn't get my smiley face opk until cd 21 , so we BD just that once at night and we did catch the egg and my daughter turns 2 in march .
I just want to add that if u do catch the egg DON'T expect a poss pregnancy test on the day your period is due as it wont be long enough , mine didn't show up at all , no hint what so ever , I was 4 days late and bingo a good poss hpt. Good luck , now go do some BD
