Question

ovulation tests

I am new to all this trying to get pregnant y using aids. My previous 2 pregnancies (17 years and 17 months ago) happened with no problems. (Also 2 miscarriages in this time). Anyway Ive started using opk tests and i dont understand how to interpret them really,i got positives for 4 days running starting from 14 days after period but they got stronger every day. I read up online that after getting a positive you shouldnt test again and that you will ovulate approx 36 hours later so should have sex 24 hours from test time. But, surely the stronger the result the closer to ovulating? Please help and let me know how you do it
