Question

Pain meds and pregnancy

Hi guys! So, if the hubs and I are successful this month in concieving, we would find out in about 2 & a half weeks. My concern is, I'm scheduled for surgery in 3 weeks. I understand they give vicodin and anesthetics during this procedure, and I was wondering if this would be damaging to a baby if I was 5 weeks? Thanks!

You cannot have the surgery if you are pregnant.....from what I understand. Why TTC if you are scheduled for a surgery you will be knocked out for? I would call the doctors office and explain that you are trying to get pregnant and see what they say about the surgery. They may want to cancel it.
