Question

2 positive Boots tests, but there was some urine on the results window. Can it really be positive???

Both tests had a fainter purple line. this means positive, but I'm sure I read somewhere that pee on the window can affect the results?

It is always advised to not let the results window get wet because it can affect results yes - best advice, do another.
1: Having 2 faint positives means it's more likely that it is a positive
2: The pee has to contain dye from the sample end of the stick/casette in order to make the coloured test AND control line... if you peed straight over the antibody strips you wouldn't see anything apart from faint discolouration where the lines are supposed to be. The dye makes it positive or not to show the reaction or no reaction.
