Chances of a chemical?
I found out at 10dpo i was pg 1st test(dip strip) was very faint later on that night i bought 2 more diff brand dip strips the line was darker but still faint so next morning took the other that was a little darker (both brands supposed to be used on 1st day of missed af, im due on wed) so went n bought a clear blue digi and a lloyds pharmacy (uk) blue dye test used them both with SMU cb digi said pregnant 1 - 2 (about right k concieved eithr 1st or 2nd jan) and the lloyds test was faint positive. I took another dip strip this mlrning with fmu (same brand as with 1st bfp) that was faint positive but darker than it was on saturday. Do you think they r all good signs? Im only 12 dpo n have had so much heartache with other pregnancies but never a chemical im so scared im going to have 1 of them. Ive had symptoms all last week n i jst knew i was pg thats why i tested so early now k wish i never knew im so stressed xx

memberThe only way to know for sure is to get some bloodwork done to make sure your hcg levels are doubling every 48 hours. With my chemical, the lines never got any darker...everyday for 10 days, the line color stayed the same...faint pink. If yours are getting darker, it's a good sign. Also, it's difficult to compare different brand tests from one day to the next...stop wasting your money and just get bloodwork...you don't even have to have an appointment for that. Congrats on your BFP and good luck! :)

Thankyou :) yeh im going to try and get an appointment in the morning im in U.K n its ridiculous getting to see your doc you either have to ring a week in advance or ring up 1st thing of a morning to see a doctor, i would wait untill next week but amongst other problems in past i have had something called trophoblastic disease and i was told that as soon as i find out im pg again i have to call them for tests. There is a 1 in 100 chance of it happening again as opposed to 1 in 1000 for women who havent. 1 thing i remembered though is i had alot of hormone tests done a few months ago and all came back normal so thats another plus :) im just scared i know i cen have a successful pregnancy as i have a son already....another plus! Positive thinking!! P.s sorry for the essay guys haha xx
