a bit confussed at the moment
I was due to start my AF on the 12 January but on the wednesday I had a very light bleed which has lasted until today the pains wasn't like a AF either I normally have quite heavy period with clots etc but I wasn't heavy with this one. I have a few cramp like pains on the left side. I had unprotected sex just outside of my fertile time.
I was wondering if it is AF or implantation bleeding.
We are trying for a baby and I am 43

Anita, this sounds like AF to me. I had a really light one this past cycle too. Sometimes AF and cycles can vary and won't always be the same. If you're 43 and trying for a baby, you may need to see an RE specialist due to your age (if you aren't already). If you still think something is off, you can always take a pregnancy test to know for sure. Wishing you all the best! :)
