When should I take a pregnancy test?

I'm trying to figure out if my fertile day was on DEc. 29 me and the hubbi got busy two days and a row and I'm trying to figure when will be the best time to take a pregnancy test?

The ideal time is to wait two weeks and take one if you miss your period, however the two week wait is hell. You could start at 8 days past ovulation so Jan. 6th and go from there. I got a very faint positive on 8dpo and it just got darker and darker after. Good luck!
