Question

Painful periods after miscarriage...can I get pregnant?

I had a miscarriage in November at 6 weeks... I never went in because I was so early I figured I passed everything. Well now I'm trying to conceive and have major pain during my periods and even sometimes during other days in my cycle, confusing this with ovulation and implantation. I'm not sure if anyone else has dealt with this, is it normal??

I miscarried on new years eve and fell pregnant again in Feb. I only had one period between and it felt lighter and less painful however this was following the pain and heaviness of miscarriage so I may not be that objective.

I have experineced lots of twingy pain but again, because of the loss, I may be oversensitive to this and noticing it more because I am focusing on it.

I had a scan after my loss and was assured there was noting retained. You pain may well be normal but it might be worthwhile considering a scan just so you know that you are ok for your next baby. I do think that had you had retention of anything you would have been having problems before now and not just around the time AF due.

Good luck and baby dust x
