I have irritable uterus (probably the same thing your drs consider mild contracted uterus) I took terbutiline, indocin, and magnesium and got p17 in my butt for 16 weeks. honestly, nothing really helped me. i struggled from 8 wks til i delivered at 33wks. They put me on bedrest for 8 1/2 months. I'm not sure what the cause of it is, because my doctors weren't really sure either. They just told me to relax, drink LOTS of water & do minimal activity. part of the reason it was bad for me is i also have incompetent cervix so it made it harder to keep the baby in. hopefully since your uterus is just grumpy it will be a little easier to keep it calm. hope this helped a little
