What's up with me????? Body can't make up it's mind?????

Well, i am on cd28 (apart from 1 month generally had a 21 approx day cycle since coming off pill april this year). The past 2 months we have been trying in the beginning/middle of my cycle. This month though i been getting my hubby to check my cervix and it seemed to be around 6/7 days ago that we think i most fertile. Anyways the last time we did was 4 days ago (sunday) and i started to spot a little after and then again a little on monday evening for max. time of 1 hour again this was light and pinky in colour, nothing tuesday, but both wednesday and this morning only a little spotting first thing in the morning again. It then goes to nothing for the remaining of day.
Anyway, the longest one cycle i only had gone 27 days and spotted 2 days prior all time before coming on fully i really think my body is a bit confused. Although overdue maybe for AF i may still be only 6/7 days past the 'O' so i dunno what to do and wonder if any1 had similar? Would really appreciate advice :((
