Asked by deanalane

Q: Is 17 day past ovulation to late to have implantation bleeding?

AF is three days late. brown discharge. mild cramps. 17 dpo. Negative pregnancy test? But still hoping to be pregnant.

Sorry to hear this, deanalane. ((hugs))
Hoping that baby dust will fall upon us both very soon.

You can start charting temps anytime, of course,
but ideally you want to start BBT on cd1 (to establish that baseline).

Once you get a few cycles in with BBT and see your ov pattern,
you can start temping at a later cd.

Just remember to get those temps at same time daily (+ or - 30 mins)
and keep the thermometer close so you move as little as possible before temping. :)

Best of luck to you & your DH!

Yep... Its AF.. Guess Im out till next month. :( Or I may just take a break. Been trying over a year, since DH and I lost Our little Nora. Can some one please tell me when you should start charting your temp? what time in your cycle?

If you're at 17dpo and your egg just implant, be prepared, because late implentation = misscariage!

If you're sure of ovulation date and you are in fact 17dpo, then this is probably the beginning of AF.
I'm sorry if this is the case.

I'd be double checking my chart/records if I were you & see if I could change Ov day to a later date.
I always cling to hope. ((hugs))

Good luck & *baby dust* for both of us.

I'd say no, but it does seem pretty late to get a neg HPT. If you look at the chart on here, over 85% are positive by now. Could you have ovulated late?
