How many times did you have to go in for scans when you did IUI?
I was taking clomid and I had to go in on Thursday for a scan to check everything. I was advised that I would be going back in Sunday for another scan. How many times did u have to go in for the scans in 1 cycle?

memberIt really varies. The lenth of your follicular phase determines how many times you will go for blood work, scans, etc. Typically, cycle day 3 includes a scan and bloodwork. Then cycle day 10, scan and bloodwork, and then depending on how big your follicle(s) is you may have to come back everyday until you surge. If you don't surge by cycel day 15, you would have another scan and if your follicle(s) is bigger than 16mm you would do an HCG trigger shot to force ovulation. Hope that's not too much info
