Q: How soon will lifting heavy objects effect your pregnancy?

How soon can lifting heavy objects effect your pregnancy? Sometimes for my job I have to life semi heavy and sometimes really heavy things. I'm just wondering if it can interfere with trying, and also if it can hurt the pregnancy if I am say, only one or two days along.

You should definitely avoid lifting anything really heavy - and you should probably talk to your doctor about it. That is one of the situations, I think, that warrants you telling a supervisor right away that you are pregnant - they need to give you some modified duties.
