Luteal Phase CHANGED DRAMATICALLY
Everywhere I look online states that your luteal phase should normally the same and could only change by 1/2 days or if youâ??re on medication or taking B6 or other enhancers to lengthen your LP. This month will make our fourth month weâ??ve been TTC and my MC is normally around 31 days. A couple months ago I started using the OPK tests and OV CD14/15 in June LP15/16 and OV CD17/18 in July LP14/15. However, this month to my surprise I OV CD21/22 LP9/10!!! I havenâ??t been sick, travelling or on medication nor have I had any changes in my routine. Iâ??m so confused and concerned about my LP dropping down to 9/10. Anything UNDER LP9 suggest a luteal phase defect and I am positive I received a positive OPK test result this month at CD21. Can anyone not on Clomid, etc. speak from personal experience of going through the same thing as me? If so, how did you make out?

UPDATE
Since I last posted this I have learned a lot and wanted 2 share this information. 2day I just started spotting so the "witch" is due 2 arrive which will make my LP at around 14/15 days.
The second half of the cycle is called the luteal phase and is from the day of ovulation until the next period begins. The LP has a more precise timeline and usually is only 12-16 days from the day of ovulation. This ultimately means that the day of ovulation will determine how long your cycle is. This also means that outside factors like stress, illness, and disruption of normal routine can throw off your ovulation which then results in changing the time your period will come. So the old thought that stress can affect your period is only partly true. Stress can affect your ovulation which ultimately determines when your period will come, but stress around the time of an expected period will not make it lateâ??it was already determined when it would come 12-16 days earlie
