No Period after stopping Loestrin 24fe mid pack?
Hi there, my question is has anyone stopped their pills mid pack and not received a period even after 4 weeks of stopping? I was only on my pills for 2 months and quit in the 3rd week of the 3rd pack. I have been have pms/pregnancy type symptoms for about 3 weeks not and most of my test were clear negatives. The last few were hard to decipher. I am guess negatives though.
I am still waiting for my period, the last one I had on the pill was July 4 and today is August 22. The last pill I took was July 23 and the 24 and 25 I had super light pink spotting(withdrawal). I don't know what to think or if I should test again in a couple weeks and just wait it out.

You should contact your OB about not having a period, because without a period, you are not ovulating.
Try taking a Early digital test, if you really think that you could be pregnant. If it comes back negative, then you REALLY need to contact your OB.
I stopped taking birth control on my 4th pill, and got my period within 3days. The birth control won't be in your system any more. So if you keep getting negatives, then you may want to have a blood test done.

Thanks! I think I am going to wait a couple more week before testing. Last pregnancy I stopped the pills the same way and got pregnant 3 weeks later...no real period just withdrawal bleed. I was hoping that would happen this time. Since I had withdrawal bleeding July 24 I will go off that date being a period and see if I start this weekend. Maybe my body is readjusting to my old cycle which would be around Sept 6.
I took a test yesterday it was a maybe......maybe...light pos. or evap. I probably won't be testing again until the 1st.

i was on the same bc and stopped mid pack too! my period was a little over 2 weeks late! the next month it was a week early and this past month it lasted only for 1 day! MY ob said that it was completely normal especially when stopping mid pack. your body has a harder time trying to adjust its hormones when you do that.
