Spotting Mid-cycle?

I am currently on CD21. I have not ovulated yet this cycle, but yesterday & today, my cervix is high, soft & open.. I am assuming I am ovulating or very close to ovulating. My husband & I had sex last night.. & afterward, I noticed some brown discharge. & This morning, I noticed some light pink spotting. Has anyone else experienced mid-cycle spotting? Could it be a sign of ovulation?

I haven't experienced it myself, but I've heard of people that have spotting when they ovulate. So yes, it's a common enough sign of ovulation. So BD as much as your hearts desire. Good luck!
