This is my first round of clomid ever. I am on 50mg. By my temp chart I ovulated 4 days ago. Today after intercourse there was brownish pinkish blood. It freaked me out. Has this happened to anyone else? There's no more blood now thank goodness but I have been crampy ever since ovulation. I really hope it works the first time!!!! I hate the side effects. lol

I have PCOS and I am on clomid. This is my 7th round. I first started at 50 mg and now am at 150 mg and it works. I tend to ovulate around day 18 though. Metformin also aids in helping you ovulate so I would take that too.
Now, I haven't gotten preggers yet, but my husbands motility is low so we just started IUI. Give it a try. the only down fall I have is that I get REAL moody and can be crabby one minute and cry the next. But other than that, it is cheap and not bad to take. Good Luck!

My doc said PCOSers have a 50 50 shot at being Clomid resistant. I of course was an unlucky one and ended up being resistant to Clomid. So I had to move on to the stronger drugs. I was only on it two cycles. The first time I barely had a mature egg it was borderline mature and I ovulated way late in my cycle. The second time I didn't even grow an egg. Hopefully you'll be in the better half! Took me 3 cycles of injectibles to finally get pregnant.

Hi there. I also have PCOS and took clomid in 2009 and became pregnant first cycle! I wasn't ovulating at all on my own. I now have a 2 year old sweet boy! I am now on first cycle of clomid TTC#2. Clomid is a miracle drug to me! :)
