How long after chemical miscarriage does hcg stay in the body?

I was on Implanon, got it removed, didn't have a period after a few weeks. Doctor did a blood test (neg), a week later I took a test and it was positive, the day after it was kinda positive (looked more negative) and 3 days later looked even more negative, then had cramps and bled a lot. I have an MRI in a few days (for unexplained dizziness) and they have to do a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. I was going to call to cancel the appt but then I started bleeding. So my question is...will it show up in a blood test?
