Question

Early ovulation?

I had AF on 28 Jun. I started using the OPK on CD12. The test line was pretty strong, however it was not as strong as the control line. It has gotten fainter the farther into the cycle I go. Is it possible to have ovulated prior to CD12?

It is definitely possible and you could have just missed your surge (like if you tested in the morning, but your surge was in the afternoon/evening). Mine did the same thing this month. I learned afterwords that it is best to use OPK's between 2-4 in the afternoon with at least a 3 hour hold. I was doing my OPK's at between 10-11 in the morning. CD12 is a little early, but definitely still possible. GL to you!
