Q: ovulation pain & timing

i have sharp ovulation pain on monday. my temp dipped that day. tuesday my temp dipped even more, and ctp says i ovulated on tuesday. so i'm wondering, if i had pain monday..is that when i ovulated? can anyone shed any light on this?

I agree with CTP on that. Sometimes I get O pains for a few days before I actually O. I think it just means my ovaries are busily preparing to O.
