Q: Ovidrel shot 7 days ago - positive pregnancy test. Is it real?

So, last week (about 7 days ago) I got an Ovidrel trigger shot. I had an IUI done two days after that. I am not 5 days past ovulation.

This morning I took a test - could not help it! It was positive! Is it still the HCG from the Ovidrel or could this be positive?

I need help! It is driving me nuts! Any answers will help. Yes I know I tested early....

Thanks!

it can take upto 10 days to leave your system,

Rule of thumb is it takes 1 day for 1,000 units of a trigger shot to leave your system, so by 10 days past your trigger it should be gone, but I have seen women still testing false positive at 12 days past trigger.

I must state I personally dont know I have never used it, I just researched and got these answers.

Of course, everyone is different, but my trigger shot was out of my system by 7 days past trigger. But to be safe keep taking tests and see if the line gets darker. Good luck
