Question

Clearblue Digital OPK - Smiley face but only 1 line?

I use clearblue digital opks and got a smiley face this morning at cycle day 18. When i ejected the stick, there was only 1 line, and all the other days there were 2 faint ones? I know you aren;t supposed to go by the lines, but does this sound right to you?

Yes, I know it seems odd, but I read that one line is LH (which is what traditional opk's detect) and the other is estrogen. The LH line gets darker when LH increases, and somehow the estrogen line gets lighter when estrogen is high. I don't get how that is possible (chemically speaking) but check out www.peeonastick.com. She talks about using Clearblue Easy digi strips in the Clearblue Easy Monitor, digi pg tests, etc (I think it's in the frequently asked questions part). Check it out if you like. In the meantime, if you got a smiley face, go find your partner! ;)
