Q: dominant egg disappeared on day 16

Hi, I'm so confused now... I just got the result for my Day 16 blood test and ultrasound, and found that the dominant egg disappeared!!! I think it's because of hormonal imbalance (as my estrogen is dropping) and may be some other problems with my body. I am so frustrated now and wondering if there's any chance the follicles will grow again within this cycle... anyone can answer???

cycle: 29 - 38 days
follicle was 10mm on day 14 and disappeared on day 16

a brief update: i went back to hv day 18 monitoring and found 2 eggs 11mm and 13mm. don't know where the eggs come from.. :P but since they are growing really too slow, this cycle's monitoring may hv to cancel... sigh...

i won't see my Dr until end of this month... anyway, will keep cycle monitoring.
