I bought the fertile focus scope and have seen ferning but when i had a positive opk i saw no ferning. Didn't work for me! Personally i wouldn't waste your money. You can get the clearblue fertility monitor on ebay cheap!

It is used to detect salt crystals that are in saliva. It is an indication of estrogen I believe. Google it there is alot of info! Good luck!
