Opk Question...

Ok so this is my first cycle using opks. Now if i understand this right when it is a positive test is means your about to ovulate. Once the test is negative you have ovulated? and it is considered positive when bot lines are the same color?

Actually OPK's detect your LH surge which happens when your body is gearing up to ovulate. So you can get a negative OPK before you actually ovulate. A woman normally ovulates 12 - 36 hours after you get your first positive. Your test line must be as dark as or darker than the control line for it to be a positive. Good luck!!!!!
