Q: Anyone got pregnant fairly quickly with a BMI of 35?

All I get from the docs about getting pregnant is: relax, have more sex and get your weight down...

I was a little lighter than present when I last got pregnant but I am wondering if maybe I should go all out and try and lose a few stone.

I did lose 3 stone 2 years ago when we first started casual trying and I didn't get pregnant, so , does it really matter?

You can get pregnant with a high bmi, but getting your bmi to a healthy range (not too high or low) will help fertility greatly. Good luck to you!!

I also have a high BMI, but I'm pregnant now. It took a year for me to get my BFP.

I have a high BMI (over 35) and it took me exactly a year to get PG (ended in m/c). But part of the reason it took so long was because I had polyps and one was big so I had to have them removed. I am sure the large one was blocking the path of the sperm. Needless to say I got my BFP 5 months after surgery. Good luck to you and don't give up. It will happen.

I think it does matter to some extent but i dont believe its the ONLY thing that works. My bmi is just under 35 and Ive gotten a bfp once which ended in early mc,

I think the only things that matter is that ur happy, ur partner is happy, ur stressfree and positive.
