LH surge 6 DPO?
So I just started to take HPT I am now 6 DPO(early I know) and took an OPK to compare lines but not the OPK is getting darker. I have read that when you get a dark OPK after O it could be pregnancy. So out of curiosity has anyone had this happen before????? Thanks for the help

The LH hormone is always present so you may get a line or not ..as far as i'm aware you only get a LH suge when you due to ovulate as it the progestrone hormone that triggers the LH surge and release the egg...i do know that OPKS can detect the LH & HCG hormone so it's possible to get a possitve OPK when pregnant..go to peeonastick.com explains it all there.

Don't waste your OPKs. After ovulation just stick to HPTs. OPKs can turn positive near AF and they can turn positive after you get a BFP, (so then you'll just wonder which one it is until either AF shows up or you get a BFP). They just add more confusion when not used for their intended purpose.
