Q: Ovulation timing and counting down to AF

I was wondering if any others do the same as me and if this is actually right . When I get a positive OPK , I always count from the following day , 14 days and I usually start that day . Do others do the same as me ? I've done this for yrs and wondered that's all , thanks xx

I did that before I started tracking my bbt and it did match up pretty good so I think your doing fine :-) I also always gave myself a extra day just incase of a delay in ovulation.

It could be anywhere from 12 to 72 hrs after a + opk to ovulation from what I understand. The more accurate way to pinpoint the exact day you ovulated is to chart your basal body temp. I hate doing temps though! I usually guess like you based on the LH surge and my cervical fluid/cervical position.
